Premier programs offered through the Ivy Star Certificate Series™
Yoga and Mindfulness for Kids
This curriculum is currently running as a 16-week program for three- to five-year-olds at a child development center in Worcester, MA.
It focuses on fostering the joy of movement and togetherness, enhancing imagination and empathy, and cultivating self awareness.
Bullying Prevention and Leadership
This curriculum will be presented as a traveling workshop in local schools and community/activity centers. It is customized to serve the varying educational/resource needs of young children, teenagers, and teachers/staff.
Multicultural Arts and Music Education
Each country curriculum teaches kids history, art, cuisine, architecture, and other relevant subjects appropriate to age and grade level.
The Music component instills appreciation for and understanding of notable instruments, vocal styles, and popular compositions from different regions.
Each program is designed uniquely with the option of completion through an on-site or traveling workshop, single-day classes, or term-long courses. We provide each curriculum in three formats: children, caregivers, and educators/administrators/agencies.
All Ivy Star™ premier programs include concrete applications of cross-cultural positive psychology tools that are tailored to meet the needs of the diverse populations we serve.
Participants:
- will need to complete a media consent form to permit the use of their names, quotes, photos, and videos for Ivy Child International multimedia materials.
- will need to complete feedback forms at the end of each course or class.
- will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course or class.
International Service Learning Program
Ivy child is now offering International Service Learning programs with the aim of globalizing students’ educational, field and volunteer experiences through their participation in community-based, on-site research in various countries. Join us to Learn, Serve, Travel!
