Ivy Star Certificate Series

Ivy Child International has designed a menu of curricula on different countries, customs, and celebrations through adaptive learning techniques as part of the Ivy Star Counting Concept Series.

Whether it be the festivals of Asia, Africa, Europe, Antarctica, Australia or the Americas – Diwali, Eid, Kwanzaa or Buddha’s Birthday – the curricula will improve children’s geography knowledge, build their tolerance, and expand their awareness as up-and-coming global citizens.

Each country curriculum (grouped within corresponding continents) teaches kids history, art, cuisine, architecture, and other relevant subjects appropriate to age and grade level.

The Music component instills appreciation for and understanding of notable instruments, vocal styles, and popular compositions from different regions.

In 2011, this curriculum was successfully applied in Global History, Art, Music, and Enrichment Classes at local schools.

NEW! Ivy Child is proudly partnering with Spotlight Korea, a New York-based nonprofit, on its Think Korea project to create comprehensive curricula on different aspects of Korean culture for middle and high school teachers.

With the contribution of your skills, time and passion, Ivy Child can provide the critical tools for kids and teens to thrive. Make a true difference by volunteering or interning with us.
