Our participation in the AA & NHPI Policy Summit is a vital extension of our mission to uplift the voices of those who are often overlooked.
We are excited to share that we recently joined the delegation at the AA & NHPI Policy Summit hosted by the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI). This summit was a powerful convergence of passionate community leaders, advocates, and policymakers who came together to uplift the voices of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities.
Throughout the day, our team engaged in heartfelt conversations about critical issues affecting our communities. From advancing economic equity to addressing anti-Asian hate and enhancing mental and behavioral health resources for youth, every session resonated deeply with our mission at Ivy Child. We believe in the power of young voices, and our participation at this summit reinforced our commitment to guide youth leaders and ensure their concerns are part of the policy-making dialogue.
The event featured inspiring speakers, including senior officials from the Biden-Harris Administration, who shared their vision for a more equitable future. We left feeling energized and hopeful, equipped with new ideas and connections to further our work in the community.
